Guidelines
The approved course materials are offered on ONLINE Mode. The facility has been extended to the professionals who are enthusiastic to enhance career prospects but are too preoccupied with their work schedules.

The facility has been divided into 2 categories as follows :
(i) CFP. It includes all the 6 modules as under:
(a) Introduction to Financial Planning.
(b) Risk Analysis and Insurance Planning
(c) Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
(d) Investment Planning
(e) Tax and Estate Planning
(f) Advanced Financial Planning

Challenge Status Programme Designed as a fast track certification Programme, it is targeted at professionals as diverse as CFA (USA), ICWA, C.A., MBA, PG, etc. as well as experienced employees and Managers employed in the financial service industry. Standard guidelines have been provided by FPSBI on
(i) Eligibility criteria
(ii) Special features of CSP,
(iii) Basic study Material together with Reference Material, and
(iv) Syllabus & References for CSP. Examination for CSP is similar to Exam No. 5 of general CFP candidates.
A special Challenge Status Registration form has to be filled in. For details, login www.fpsbindia.org.

Work Books
In addition to the course materials, the facility has been extended to the work books for all modules. These enable students to know the examination pattern and pass the modules smoothly. The IDs issued to the student shall have the following calendar :
(i) CFP- 1000 hours or 18 months, which evers is earlier
(ii) CSP - 200 hours or 2-3 months, whichever is earlier

Mock Test:
At the end of each chapter of every Module, Mock Test has been given. It shows the examination pattern with multi-options. Students should go through the same repeatedly so as to ensure understanding of the contents and capability to score minimum of pass marks i.e.60. In respect of Exam 1 – 4, grades are : 60-70% - C, 70-80% - B, above 80% - A

Random Test:
At the end of the Module, random tests are given so as to subject a student to rigorous test of understanding of the questions and best capability to score grade.

Self-assessment:
On the basis of the attempts for chapter tests certain values have been given by us. These indicate: Upto 10% - Good, 11-15% - V. Good, 16-20% - Excellent.

Question Marks:
The questions asked by the Board carry mathematical values. It is not possible to indicate hard and fast basis of such scores. However, the parameters as we understand has been given as follows:
(i) If a single line statement question – 1 mark
(ii) Statement with elementary numericals – 2 marks
(iii) Numericals only - 4 marks
The students are requested to keep the above parameters in mind while answering the chapter test.
